Rough Edges
Thirty-five year old Stone Mitchell, Texas ‘cowboy’ extraordinaire, and owner of Falcon’s Ridge Ranch south of San Antonio, is looking for an image change. Now that he’s got his ranch up and running he decides it’s time he settle down and get married. He once was a Texas Ranger, but gave up the hazardous occupation when he fell victim to a madman with a knife. He conceals his facial scars with a full beard and mustache, mostly because he knows his appearance will scare off the fairer sex.
From the first moment Gina meets the tall, beastly cowboy she knows she has her work cut out for her. She soon meets with opposition from him when she suggests he shave off his beard. But as she works with him, she finds she’s growing more attracted to him each passing day. But when he starts interfering in her life, including making important decisions for her, she decides he’s no better than the previous two men in her life. When she breaks off their working and personal relationship because of his domineering ways he knows the only way he can convince her of his love and of his desire to marry her is to ‘reveal’ himself to her.
