Romance At Heart Publications is open to most genres of both romantic and erotic women's fiction. This is including, but not limited to the following categories:
- Romantic Suspense
Romance At Heart Publications will also be publishing sizzling romances under our Spicy RAH line, and will include all of the above mentioned categories for those readers who prefer a bit more spice in their reading. Our RAH and Red-Hot line will include all of the above mentioned categories as well, and will contain the erotic romances for our readers who prefer much hotter and sexier novels.
Unacceptable content includes:
A. Simply gratuitous sex, with out a strong romantic component.
B. Depictions of any and all acts of bestiality, pedophilia, and necrophilia.
C. Any and all references to gratuitously graphic violence, sexual or otherwise.
D. Any material that we consider demeaning to an individual or a group will not be accepted.
In today's society there is some confusion regarding the difference between pornography and erotica.
Our definition is this:
Pornography is simply gratuitous sex for sex sake. There is no emotion tied to the act, it is meaningless and vulgar. Erotica is more than sex, it is a feeling behind the act, the story and the passion more graphically portrayed than the regular romance novel.
Erotica deals with the story, the passion, and the love that is absent in pornography.
Bestiality is defined within the context of contemporary earthbound society. The Futuristic Sci-Fi aliens, shape shifters (where shape shifters are in the same form as the character with which they are mating), and other creatures of such genres, are not within the definition of bestiality. Content otherwise considered unacceptable would necessarily be integral to the story before it will be considered for publication.
